Prior to attending law school, Mr. Raftery worked as an executive for two of the world’s most prestigious motion picture studios. Not only did he develop a thorough understanding of Fortune 500 business practices, but he also developed significant connections in and gained valuable insights into the entertainment business. As a lawyer, Mr. Raftery drafted a chapter of a leading West publication on the creation and maintenance of limited liability companies and was a featured speaker at the Arizona State University School of Law where he discussed the effects of cybersquatting and how businesses can protect their internet presence.

Mr. Raftery’s specialty business experience also includes the representation of clients in the healthcare industry and he is certified in compliance matters by the Health Care Compliance Association. Mr. Raftery represents numerous clients in the health care industry from single physician practices to multi-specialty groups.

Estate Planning

Mr. Raftery provides sound and creative advice to individuals and families with respect to structuring and drafting their estate plans to meet their individual needs. Mr. Raftery assists clients in navigating the complex state and federal estate regulations to develop estate plans that meet the clients’ tax, non-tax and wealth distribution goals including the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, business succession planning and advanced health care directives.
